The Rt Rev.Ivor Arthur Norris, DD (9 July 1901 -24 January 1969) was the second Bishop Brandon.
He was born in Willesden Green〔(bnet )〕 and educated at St John’s College, Winnipeg and King's College LondonA & C Black, 2007 ISBN 978-0-19-954087-7〕 and ordained in 1926.〔.Crockford's Clerical Directory1940-41 Oxford, OUP,1941〕 He began his career as Curate of All Saints, Winnipeg〔(Church web-site )〕 after which he held incumbencies in Russell and Neepawa. From 1947 to 1950 he was Archdeacon of Brandon when he became its Diocesan–a post he held until his death.〔(Handbook of the General Synod of the Anglican Church of Canada )〕
